A printer may well cost over $200 to make but that is not where they intend to
make their profits.
The average computer user may spend between $1000 and $1700  on original cartridges in the two years following the purchase of their new printer.

So you may have paid $100 for that nice new inkjet (and it really is a bargain at $100)
but you will be paying a lot more for the replacement inkjet cartridges.
That is where they make their profits.

While printer manufacturers tell you that you must use their cartridges
there are usually cheaper compatible inkjet cartridges available.

 

The best thing to do is to choose a very popular model of printer and then you
can be assured of the availability of compatile replacements.

Your local dealer may not stock compatibles and this may be a condition of his supplier.
Fortunately compatible inkjet cartridges are very lightweight and can be posted cheaply.
If you order from the suppliers we list then you will save up to two thirds or more on  the cost of a compatible versus the price of an original cartridge and you will usually receive it by post in a couple of days.

Quality is generally most users worry but major compatible manufacturers claim equal quality to original cartridges.

One major retailer of compatible cartridges stated that they use exactly the same inks as those in the original cartridges.

In inkjet cartridges you should go for a medium priced cartridge rather than the cheapest you can buy.

Alway clean the heads of your inkjet printer when installing any inkjet cartridge to get best results.
